Upminster Farmers Market
Upminster Farmers Market has been announced as the venue of the pilot episode of a brand-new BBC1 food show presented by a celebrity chef. Filming will take place at Upminster Farmers Market on Thursday, 3 September from 9am to 2pm and producers are looking for two couples who share a love of food to take part.
The couple can be partners, family or friends who share a love of food and think they have real talent in the kitchen. Viewers will watch the couples as they spend time in the kitchen competing to create an original recipe/dish before heading off to Upminster farmers market to see whose stall will be the most successful.
Ian Chisholm of Upminster Farmers Markets said: ‘It is a real honour to be chosen to host filming for a BBC show, and we hope to get lots of visitors along on the day to be part of the filming and sample the competitor’s dishes.’
