With over 25 years of experience in the butcher industry, mainly supplying top restaurants and caterers, Tony's butcher counter is at the Lordship Food Hall in Writtle, along with his online shop specialising in meat, poultry and gourmet goods for the general public and trade – direct to your door. His philosophy is simple; to supply the greatest quality meat to all customers.
Naturally reared, free range or organic meat and poultry sourced as locally as possible feature highly on the farm 2 table website menu. You can select from multi-award winning free range pork from just outside of Dunmow, home cured and smoked bacon and handmade meaty sausages. The locally reared beef is from Pedigree Hereford cattle, the cuts and joints that are well marbled, slowly matured and succulent. The free range Essex lamb and mutton is grazed on natural meadow grass and herbs. The poultry available is Label Anglais, or the highest quality local free range. A wide selection of local game birds and meat make a seasonally welcome treat.
Specialist seasonal boxes can be purchased on-line, from mixed meat boxes, to gourmet seafood, to specialist summer BBQ packs, or a winter soup and stew box including bones to make up wonderfully warming stocks and sauces.
Whether you require everyday joints for a Sunday roast, or a kilo of ox cheeks for a gala dinner party, Tony will be able to supply your needs. If the joint or cut is not available on the website, give him a couple of days notice of your requirements and he will source the very best he can find, deliver it to you, or you can collect from the farm.
