The Hamper House

The Hamper House is situated in the beautiful village of Tiptree, just 9 miles south-west of Colchester Town.

The family run business was established in 2007 to provide the finest of fresh shellfish, truffles, champagne, fine wine and liqueurs, all beautifully presented in wicker hampers and delivered to your chosen address; making a wonderfully unique and delicious gift for that special occasion or an exceptional treat. The Hampers can be purchased on-line, by telephone or email.

The hamper selections are categorised into Shellfish & Champagne or Chablis; Truffles & Champagne, Wine, or Bailey’s liqueur; and Champagne, Wine, Bailey's Liqueur or vintage Port gift sets. All of the bottles are accompanied by appropriate serving glasses.

The Hamper House’s speciality is the shellfish range, which vary in size and selection of delectable produce included. You can select from a light and delicious ‘Lobster Delight’ for a surprise brunch, lunch or supper for two to share; to the gourmet feast ‘Deluxe Delight’– a real shellfish banquet, with which you could also order an extra bottle of champagne and flutes, to entertain guests and share your delight.

The fresh shellfish is sourced locally from a reputable and renowned business that specialises in the finest oysters, crab and lobsters. The fresh crabs and lobsters are skillfully prepared and dressed, reaching you in chilled, prime condition - ready to eat. The Oysters are among the finest in the UK and have been cleansed and purged in a UV filtered fresh sea water purification system; rock oysters can be ordered all year round and the native Colchester oysters, between the months of September and April.

For those with a sweeter tooth, the truffle hamper range includes rich, sumptuous Belgian truffles, complimented by a choice of either Champagne, smooth Bailey’s liqueur, or a fine Rose; drinking vessels included.
