Brett trained in Switzerland, has worked in a number of fine European hotels and has over 35 years experience of wine, running a successful wine bar and bistro for 27 years.
Eight years ago he started a wine club which has attracted members throughout the UK. The feedback of these members adds to Brett’s understanding of people’s enjoyment of wine.
He has a relaxed, informative approach to wine tasting. Drawing upon his experience of visiting vineyards and wineries all over Europe and the New World he can talk in detail about wine and the personalities of those involved in producing them.
A member of the Association of Wine Educators and the Circle of Wine Writers, Brett organises wine tastings, corporate events, training courses and wine dinners. Experience shows that these events are well received because they are relaxed and informal.
He is pleased to accompany small groups on wine tours as well as wine cruises.
Brett enjoys wine and has a delight in sharing his enthusiasm for such an absorbing subject.
