The Bell Inn A wonderful traditional Inn and restaurant, renowned, and justifiably so, for excellent food, carefully created from high quality, fresh seasonal produce; an extensive well balanced wine list and a good selection of real ales and regularly alternating guest ales. The service is professional and friendly. Children welcome. Two private function rooms. Highly Recommended.

The Mistley Thorn Set in the beautiful and historic town of Mistley, The Thorn offers excellent, freshly prepared food utilising the very best of local, seasonal ingredients. A good sized menu and daily specials are available; with an emphasis on fresh fish and seafood. The surroundings are warm and contemporary with a rustic charm. The service is friendly and attentive, without being rushed. Highly recommended.

The Cherry Tree A delightful and popular pub restaurant, contrasting a traditional Inn with a modern and vibrant restaurant area. Separate bar and restaurant menus offer an excellent choice of freshly prepared straightforward dishes that are all created in house using quality ingredients sourced as locally as possible. Children are made welcome with children’s food portions and high chairs available.

The Headley A superb pub restaurant set in an idyllic rural location, just one and a half miles outside of Brentwood Town Centre. The reasonably priced menu skilfully combines the traditional with the modern, offering uncomplicated, expertly prepared dishes which are created under the guidance of the owner, and 2 Michelin star chef, Daniel Clifford. A popular and beautiful venue for wedding receptions, corporate lunches and private functions.

The Plough and Sail A traditional Inn set in the heart of rural Paglesham. Good straightforward food is freshly prepared on the premises and offers very good value for money. The simple menu is built upon with an extensive specials board utilising the best of local produce including some very good fish and seafood dishes. The weekly ‘Pudding and Pie’ night is a popular and very reasonable priced way to spend a Thursday evening. A children’s menu is also available.

Excellent, reasonably priced, locally sourced seasonal food, freshly prepared to high standards; without pretension. All of the family are welcome. Pleasant beer garden. Private dining room. The Duck Inn Situated in a beautiful, tranquil countryside setting, The Duck serves simple traditional and modern British dishes with a scattering of European classics; all prepared in house using fresh, locally sourced quality ingredients. The Woolpack Bar & Bistro Under new management as of October 2008, the Woolpack has received a fresh, new face lift, giving a stylish, contemporary feel to the original oak timber framed building. Differing menus run throughout the day at this relaxing bar-bistro, from the all day bar menu featuring some delicious homemade snacks, a light lunch menu and an afternoon tea menu - for those who desire a special treat before the dinner menu comes into play.

The Sun Inn The Sun Inn, set in the idyllic countryside village of Dedham, serves wonderful Modern British dishes with strong Mediterranean influences; created using local, fresh seasonal ingredients. The traditional former Coaching Inn with exposed beams, oak floorboards and 4 open fires offers a good selection of real ales and an excellent wine list; with over 20 by the glass. A beautiful terrace and garden can be enjoyed in the warmer months.
